I have bought two other brands and they have a strong odor** A: I don't know why all the answers say it is odor free. I bought it and it stinks horribly. It smells like a combination of Noxema and Jergens hand lotion. It smells so strong that I cannot stand to use it. READ labels, especially Potassium Sorbate is a real KILLER to joints. This is only one of the additives to look for besides the others. You have to read everything on the label. You can write to Google and they can help about damaging additives. To me this is going on to many things we eat and do not know the consequences of suffering, especially from Arthritis. Potassium Sorbate is anotjher in foods. BL **Q: how good does it work for knee pain caused by cartilage damage?** A: It would depend on the severity of damaged cartilage. My husband and I use it and it works really well. I have knee pain on the left side and I used it daily for a time and now do not have to use it daily. My husband uses it on several of his joints and it works. It is very good for inflammation of the joints but not a cure all. If you are unsure I would suggest that you ask a medical person.
