A: I phoned company.  They are in Illinois but the components for this item are globally sourced.  When pressed the answer WAS CHINA.

**Q: What is the pill size comparision with the c500 vs the c1000?**
A: C-1000 is on the large size.
Not sure of the 500 size.

**Q: Are NOW Vitamin C-500 - 250 Tablets 'soy free'? I can't read the back label/panel on my 7" tablet. Thank you!**
A: The label says it contains no soy.

**Q: The label lists fruit as a source. Does this come from grapefruit?**
A: When I phoned I learned it was corn.  China was the country of origin.
