Directions Use with telescoping pool poles to quickly scoop off surfaces or clean leaves and debris from underground or ground swimming pools, hot tubs, jacuzzis, pond covers Review: Overall this skimmer net works great. I like the fact that it is clear so that you can see leaves and debris floating underneath the water. My previous skimmer net was white and I found it harder to capture this type if material. It also glides through the water with medium resistance, which is good based on the small size of the openings in the net (i.e. for silt). I also find their warranty very impressive. The only negative comment is that I find the depth of the net to be a little small. This means you have to empty it more often. If you try to collect too much debris it just spills over into the pool. Another 2"-3" would be ideal. Review: I purchased the expensive pool net, seemed great until the stitching started coming out and the net started coming apart, only used it maybe 5 times, very disappointed, And they don't Honor there warranty, it's a scam, very upset 😡 waste of money ## Features - LIFETIME REPLACEMENT 490 PROMISE - We stand behind our products with an unlimited replacement or total purchase price recovery policy. What's the catch?** A: Yes. No catch. Free or 50% replacements. As a pro, you can buy unlimited pool nets, handles and rims @ half of retail & keep them in the truck for quick swaps. Pool owner part/tool replacements are free & unlimited via a 2 min online auto- claim. **Q: Is it really that easy to replace the handle, rim or net of the ProTuff pool leaf rake? I know what other kits are like.** A: Yes. Our Poolympics tradeshow competitions prove it. Dozens of pro users have fully disassembled and reassembled our pro-grade modular pool cleaning net in well under 2 minutes for the competition. We're confident any other pool pro can do the same. **Q: Do you actually cover "wear and tear" as a result of standard usage, even for Pro users? Nobody does that!** A: We do! Of course, regardless of how durable our pool leaf nets, brushes and poles are, they aren't indestructible, especially in a professional setting. We cover "wear & tear" so you can be more profitable & successful - and need more of our tools :) **Q: How difficult is it to file a claim or for Pros to buy replacements? How does it work if I have a problem?** A: As a pro, just login and buy as many replacement parts as you like @ 50% of retail. Throw 'em in the truck for quick swaps. Pool owners just file the automated online claim. Your part or tool shows up a few days later - at no cost. **Q: Can I use this swimming pool net for cleaning with my current pool pole? Do I need your pole for my new skimmer net?** A: You most likely can use your current pole. If you own a standard pool pole, which generally has an inner diameter of 1 1/8 - 1 1/4", then the ProTuff heavy duty pool leaf net should attach with no trouble. If not, you're covered by the 490 Promise. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by M***6 on November 5, 2022* Overall this skimmer net works great. Another 2"-3" would be ideal. ### ⭐ Review *by M***G on June 23, 2023* I purchased the expensive pool net, seemed great until the stitching started coming out and the net started coming apart, only used it maybe 5 times, very disappointed, And they don't Honor there warranty, it's a scam, very upset 😡 waste of money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by M***R on March 15, 2026* I bought this net in 2019 & right away recognized it was a higher quality than any previous net I owned. It was just more consistent in its skimming of organic debris down to the smallest of leaves, bugs, & grass clippings. After many years in the FL sun, the net began to separate from the frame. True to their word, ProTuff sent me a new net at no charge. The claims filing process is super easy where you fill out an online form that can pull most of the information needed from the Amazon order number. The new net arrived at my house in just a few days & ProTuff kept me apprised of the status the whole time. But that net was soon lost due to a hurricane so after filing another claim, ProTuff sent me an even better one. The latest version can be disassembled from the frame which can be disassembled from the handle. This is so if one part should fail, the entire unit doesn't have to be replaced. It's a great way to cut down on unnecessary waste by just replacing the failed component. It's a great company that really stands by their already excellent product. Job well done ProTuff! ## Frequently Bought Together - ProTuff 17" Silt Net Pool Skimmer – “490 Promise” Unlimited, Unconditional Replacement – Ultra-Durable Fine Mesh Net for Silt & Debris – Heavy-Duty Aluminum Frame, EZ-Clip & Deep Bag for Easy Cleaning - ProTuff 22" Pool Brush Head – Comes Sturdy Bristles, Tough on Algae, Dirt & Grime – Cleans 3X Faster – Extra-Wide Pool Scrubber Brush with Pole Attachment Option - ProTuff 16ft Heavy Duty Telescopic Pool Pole – Unconditional Lifetime Replacement - Instant & Reliable Extension - Universal Fit for Nets, Skimmers, Brushes & Vacuums - Anti-Slip, Comfort Grip --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/731981993-protuff-17-siltnet-pool-skimmer-490-promise-unlimited-unconditional-replacement](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/731981993-protuff-17-siltnet-pool-skimmer-490-promise-unlimited-unconditional-replacement) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
