It is coated black and includes 2 serrated flange lock nuts. - The gas pedal in the Fiesta ST is much lower than the brake pedal which not only makes the ergonomics somewhat uncomfortable, but also it makes heel/toe shifting a bit difficult and awkward to perform. Stopped my occasional habit of hitting the side of the brake pedal with my foot when transitioning to the brakes. The thickness is perfect; I'm really glad that I found this product since most of the other options on the market seem to be much thicker. It's taking me some time to get used to heel-toe downshift in this car because the brakes are so sensitive, but I've managed to hit a couple of perfect ones already, and the pedal placement is perfect now. Thank you for producing such a high-quality item! 100% compatible with the 2017 Fiesta ST. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super easy to install *by R***N on April 23, 2017* Super easy to install, just make sure you have the correct size extended socket and a couple of extensions since it is a little cramped in the pedalbox. Everything lines up perfectly and it took maybe ten minutes to do. Once installed, you don't even notice until you heel-toe downshift and realize that you do not need to be stomping on the brake just to reach the gas pedal.
