The JBL BassPro Nano gives you 100 solid watts of RMS power in a 25 x 20 x 7.5 cm enclosure that fits under almost any seat. A specially designed 6" x 8" shallow profile woofer gives the BassPro Nano the impact of a larger speaker while saving valuable space. The die-cast anodized aluminum housing and metal grille protect the horn from accidental damage. Control over your bass. Low pass filter, adjustable bass boost, and phase switch help you dial your sound. Line-level and speaker-level inputs with switchable charging give you multiple options for wiring your system. The included wiring harness simplifies installation, and a wired remote allows you to adjust the volume of the submarine from the driver's seat. They put out a nice, tight bass line that you can feel, without vibrating the whole car or deafening the passengers. Installation is pretty easy; I was able to do it by myself in about two hours. Its performance is excellent for a miniature sub, but keep in mind that it CANNOT compete with a 10” vented enclosure. It lacks that ‘big bass’ sound, and even at maximum gain, you won’t be able to hear (or feel) it if you put it in the trunk. Hip hop and rap bass lines tend to roll off noticeably on the extreme low-end notes, but for classic rock, country, and less bass-heavy music its performance is flawless. Two other things to note: The Nano is very slim, but if your car has very low-slung seats (Miata) it won’t fit underneath. The remote volume knob has an obnoxiously bright blue power indicator. I had to mount it facing down, to keep it from blinding me while driving at night. If I could change one thing about the Nano, it would be that annoying light.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I see you can hook two of these up, how do you do that?**
A: distribution block for battery power wire and rca splitters from one to two feeds. Just jump the remote wire from one to the other, or another distribution block.

**Q: Does it come with the power adapter?**
A: No it does not. 
You have to buy your own amplifier wiring kit as this has a built in amp connecting to ground, 12v (radio), and red to battery.

**Q: Is it normal for this to get quite hot? Sounds great, just gets warm...**
A: Yes, amplifiers may run warm/hot at times. They should be installed in a well ventilated area when possible.

**Q: Can i run 2 of these in a 2018 wrx sti with a stock head unit?**
A: need a line processor from stock radio to powered sub to bump up power. rca splitter, unless your stock radio doesnt have rca output.

I mounted this sub behind the driver’s seat in a NC Miata, and ended up liking it so much that I bought a second one to put behind the passenger seat. They put out a nice, tight bass line that you can feel, without vibrating the whole car or deafening the passengers. Installation is pretty easy; I was able to do it by myself in about two hours. Its performance is excellent for a miniature sub, but keep in mind that it CANNOT compete with a 10” vented enclosure. It lacks that ‘big bass’ sound, and even at maximum gain, you won’t be able to hear (or feel) it if you put it in the trunk. This subwoofer completely transformed the sound in my Jeep Wrangler. Packs a ton of punch in a small form. I have it located under the driver’s seat, and it’s the perfect fit. Very easy to setup after wiring the power, remote and ground. This sub delivers that consistent clean JBL sound. Wish I would have went this route the first time instead of piecing together a sub and amp combo.
