## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this to modify a gundam kit? i'm planning on using the crest horns on the hgac wing zero in place of the wing zero honoo's horns.**
A: Tamiya Basic Type Putty is used for filling in seams when assembling plastic model kits or RC models that use ABS or styrene plastic bodies. The putty is gray in color and may be applied with a flat surface tool.
Note: Tamiya's basic type putty is not intended to fill large gaps. It is meant to fill in seams and imperfections in plastic model surfaces. The basic putty may also be used for resin model, metal model and vinyl model applications.

**Q: Can this putty work on 3d printed objects**
A: Maybe, it works on most resin-y things as long as they're not oily. It won't work on a smooth plastic type of thing. If you want something with more adherence, you might want to look at an epoxy putty. Those also tend to be thicker, though.

**Q: will this work for metal figurine minatures or just plastic?**
A: I'm almost certain this is primarily for plastic models, it might adhere to a metal figurine as a filler but I don't believe it could be used for bonding pieces together or anything like that, hope this helps.

**Q: can it be thinned with mineral spirits?**
A: Coming from experience, I would use acetone instead.
