Its compact plug-and-stay design fits discreetly into laptops, game consoles, and car audio systems. With 512GB of storage, it offers ample space for high-res media and documents. Password protection with 128-bit AES encryption ensures your data stays secure, compatible with Windows 10+ and macOS 10.9+. ## Description The SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive has an ultra-compact design so you can plug and forget, making it easy to add extra storage. Spend less time waiting and more time doing with fast transfer speeds up to 400MB/s. This fast flash drive adds up to 512GB of storage for your content.(Based on read speed. 1 MB/s = 1 million bytes per second. Based on internal testing; performance may vary depending upon host device, usage conditions, drive capacity, and other factors. USB 3.0 port required. 1GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. Actual user storage less.) Review: Great form factor and super fast (USB3.2) - I was originally looking for a microsd card to put in my laptop to increase storage, but when I saw I could get 512gb in a 'stubby' USB3.2 stick I had to try it out. The way it's shaped there is barely a bump so it doesn't feel like it will get knocked off when I move my laptop around. And I could even leave it attached when I pack up my laptop bag. If I could make one gripe, the flash drive is so compact that there is really no way to carry (no loop or key ring to attach to something). So I would say that I am fearful of losing it, if I left it out on a table or dropped it (being so compact - would I even hear it?). The larger/longer sticks have that going for it. But I love how compact it is and will probably just leave it attached to the laptop indefinitely. Highly recommend! Mine got very hot as I was transferring close to 95% of it's rated capacity...which took 6 hours to do. After it got so hot, slowing down to a crawl, then stopping for a minute before restarting I did get all my files on it. But, then it started losing the files. Lose a file, put it back, lose another, until it eventually lost 25% or so of my files and wouldn't take a transfer of them back without losing as much as I was putting on it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it for use for anything close to what they rate it. You'll lose files and burn your finger if you try. **Q: Does it fit easily in a usb port (or is it really tight - the shell on the end that inserts into usb looks pretty thick in the photos) ?** A: My 128gb version was an abnormally tight fit causing the housing that inserts into any device to break. It has always run hotter than full size USB's when after 10 months it eventually failed. **Q: Does it get hot when you're just playing music off of it? Want to use it in my car's usb port.** A: I find these drive's get hot only when writing to them, but just get warm when reading from them. **Q: Es compatible con el módulo de sincronización blink ?** A: El Sync Module 2 tiene un puerto activo para el almacenamiento local de clips de movimiento en una unidad USB ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great form factor and super fast (USB3.2) *by K***B on 5 October 2024* I was originally looking for a microsd card to put in my laptop to increase storage, but when I saw I could get 512gb in a 'stubby' USB3.2 stick I had to try it out. Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buen producto *by L***O on 22 January 2026* Excelente ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredibly Tiny, Deceptively Fast - My Go-To Drive for Large Files *by S***T on 10 June 2025* I needed a high-capacity flash drive that I could leave plugged into my laptop without it sticking out and risking being snapped off. The SanDisk Ultra Fit is famous for its tiny, low-profile design, and this 512GB model was the perfect "plug-and-forget" solution I was looking for. Real-World Speed & Performance For a drive this small, the performance is impressive. While it's not going to match an external SSD, it's incredibly fast for a flash drive. I regularly use it to move large game installation folders and video files between my desktop PC and my laptop. I was able to transfer a 20GB folder in just a couple of minutes, which is fantastic. For smaller files, it's nearly instant. My Primary Uses & Usability This drive's versatility is its biggest strength. It's become my go-to for a few key tasks: Semi-Permanent Laptop Storage: I leave it plugged into my laptop to carry files I need on the go, effectively expanding its storage without a bulky external drive. PC Building & Maintenance: It's the perfect drive for flashing motherboard BIOS updates on my PC builds. Media Playback: I load it up with movies and TV shows to plug directly into my smart TV's USB port. It handles 4K playback without any issues. A Note on Build and Heat The two most common concerns with this drive are its plastic build and the heat it generates. Yes, the all-plastic construction feels a bit delicate, so I wouldn't recommend putting it on a keychain that gets tossed around a lot. And it does get quite warm during long, sustained file transfers—that's normal for a drive this compact and fast. In my experience, it has never been hot enough to cause concern or impact performance. Final Verdict: The Best Low-Profile Drive Out There If you need a massive amount of storage in the smallest possible package, the SanDisk Ultra Fit is the undisputed champion. It's perfect for expanding laptop storage, for use in car stereos, or for anyone who needs a reliable, high-speed drive that stays out of the way. The convenience and performance it offers are well worth it. ## Frequently Bought Together - SanDisk 512GB Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive - Up to 400MB/s, Plug-and-Stay Design - SDCZ430-512G-GAM46, Black - SanDisk 512GB Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive - SDCZ48-512G-G46, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/733757729-sandisk-512gb-ultra-fit-usb-3-2-gen-1-flash](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/733757729-sandisk-512gb-ultra-fit-usb-3-2-gen-1-flash) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
