**Q: How well would these work with 3d printed items (ie on PLA plastice surface?)**
A: They will work awesome but you need to prime first with a lacquer or polyurethane primer to ensure the paint adhere well. I did used them on 3D printed PLA and resine figures primed with Mr Surfacer primer.

**Q: what the difference between this and basic color set?**
A: Game colors are made mainly for miniature wargames. The colors are a bit brighter. Basic color will work fine they do not have the same amount of pigments

**Q: Is the actual formula of these paints any different than that of their basic set? Or are these just the "game" colors? Do both sets require primer**
A: Just game colors same basic paint. I always recommend primer even for the "Pre primed" minis just seems to make the paint stick better.
