I use the rodi system for my reef tank, but since rodi water is essentially stripped of everything bad and good things, I could not use it for drinking purposes, so I bought this filter to remineralize the water and it did. the rodi water had 0.01 tds, and after running it through the alkaline filter, it went up to 0.14 which means I have minerals again essential minerals.
