I dust a bit on my skin before applying makeup and then dust a bit on top of my makeup to set it and keep my skin matt. As long as you're not globbing it on, there's no reason you can't use it as a setting powder. It doesn't change the color of my makeup and I have very fair skin. **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: It comes exactly as you see it online. It comes with a small powder puff or you can use a makeup brush to apply. **Q: Would this work for dark skin, or does the powder look white on skin due to the talc and zinc?** A: I know this is old, but I wanted to share my experience: Short Answer-Yes, I use it and I have medium brown dark skin. Long Answer- I love this powder, as I am oily/combo skin type and my skin gets congested very easily which quickly leads to break outs. I mainly use this as a setting powder, I have and have used many setting powders but they always lead to me breaking out so I gave this a try due to the silver and zinc which are good for Christmas negated skin and it works! It gives decent shine control & sets my foundation beautifully but it does leave a slight white cast on the face so I fixed it by using a setting & fixing spray after and that seems to take away the cast as well as my oils soaking it up. Also best part, no flash back on camera. **Q: Can this be used over a moisturizer with saylicilic acid?** A: I do personally use this product over my moisturizer & it’s fine. My moisturizer does not contain salicylic acid due to my having sensitive skin, but imo, that should be fine.
