I had formerly used Mary Kay creme to powder foundation for about 20 years, but after reading about how MK uses toxic ingredients in their make up, I was looking for something that had safe/non-toxic ingredients. I first tried Benecos foundation--very disappointed with that--it was very difficult to apply--didn't go on smoothly at all, kind of blotchy in its application. This foundation is VERY similar to the application of Mary Kay's creme to powder foundation. And I appreciate that they provide an applicator with your purchase (which is similar in texture to the MK foundation applicator, unlike a lot of other foundations you'll buy which don't include an applicator). I have olive complexion, and the Chestnut color matches my skin perfectly, and goes on really nice. I also really like the foundation case and appreciate the nice packaging/shipping with tissue paper.
