Putting it together it took me about an hour using the tools which came with the unit. The instructions are pretty straight forward but on a couple of the numbers on the manual didn’t match up, but you are provided with the right amount of nuts and bolts. The delivery was good, it arrived on time and nicely packaged, I could lift the box on my own however it’s quite heavy and and another pair of hands would have been great (getting it into the room I wanted to build it in). Using the product again I am surprised how sturdy it is, I haven’t experienced wobbly or haven’t had to use weighs to hold it down. I bought this product for the assisted dip, I have been looking for a while and glad that this product is available, the price is good for what you get, a genuine or second hand assisted dip machine costs thousands, so far this machine works as well as a gym one. I am starting the journey which will enable to me use the machine un assisted, but at the moment I am far from reaching this goal, I am using the four resistance bands and it holds my weight (90kg) and I am still able to feel the muscles pull and strengthen even with the 4 bands. The height is adjustable and this unit is more than a dip, chin and pull machine, it’s good for press ups as well as other exercises. Overall I am pleased I took a gamble and if someone is of similar thinking to me, I would say go for it. Review: Surprisingly good. - Pleasantly suprised. Some components were scratched upon receipt. If this was going in a garage/conservatory I would ask for replacement parts due to likelihood of rust occurring but it’s going in a spare bedroom so I’m not overly worried. It all fitted together well with instructions almost correct, few details missing that would have helped but nothing insurmountable. Quality of components is decent for the price even the nuts & bolts are acceptable. Once built the tower is certainly substantial enough for my 85kg body. The assist platform is not the smoothest but it does work. You can do assisted pull-ups, chin ups AND assisted dips though for the dips I stand on the assist platform and use bent legs to get the range of motion I want where for the pull exercised knees-on-platform may be the best option. Overall can recommend the Sportsroyal assisted power tower. ## Features - pull up tower ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BFWVXY32 | | Brand Name | Sportsroyals | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (454) | | Handle Type | Fixed | | Included Components | Power Tower | | Item Weight | 28.58 kg | | Manufacturer | Sportsroyals | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 440 Pounds | | Model Number | FZYT-2022 | | Part Number | FZYT-2022 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sportsroyals - **Handle Type:** Fixed - **Included Components:** Power Tower - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Maximum Weight Recommendation:** 440 Pounds ## Images ![Sportsroyals Power Tower Pull Up Dip Station Assistive trainer Multi-Function Home Gym Strength Training Fitness Equipment - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61mcSw7CrqL.jpg) ![Sportsroyals Power Tower Pull Up Dip Station Assistive trainer Multi-Function Home Gym Strength Training Fitness Equipment - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71c0kS4eW3L.jpg) ![Sportsroyals Power Tower Pull Up Dip Station Assistive trainer Multi-Function Home Gym Strength Training Fitness Equipment - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nPUDtCZtL.jpg) ![Sportsroyals Power Tower Pull Up Dip Station Assistive trainer Multi-Function Home Gym Strength Training Fitness Equipment - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lmlaRgeVL.jpg) ![Sportsroyals Power Tower Pull Up Dip Station Assistive trainer Multi-Function Home Gym Strength Training Fitness Equipment - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81vDIMsedLL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the height, width, and depth dimensions of this when it is assembled?** A: After three back/forth emails directly with Sportsroyal, they have finally admitted this advertising is misleading in that the actual top height of the handlebars is actually 87 inches - not the 92.7" one of their pictures clearly shows. For someone 6'2" tall, this means your feet will touch from a dead hang vs. not touching. Very misleading advertising and I hope they correct that image soon. **Q: Why is the newer one $10 less than the older one?** A: I’m sure the real answer would be quite complex, but do you really care? **Q: How far apart (width) are the dip handles?** A: Sportsroyals website says 27.3, although a previous seller stated 23 inches. I didn't buy this yet but I'd check out the dimensions on the Sportsroyals webiste. **Q: Anyone else nervous the welds won't hold??** A: Well, I’m not a welder but I looked closely at each and they seemed sound. The device is well constructed and seems to be well designed as well. While a weld could fail ‘catastrophically’ you’re most likely to see a ‘gradual’ failure over time. If you’re concerned, inspect the rack weekly to monitor the weld integrity and ensure the nuts and bolts are properly tightened to reduce stress and flex on the welds that could cause them to fail. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The home gym we have been waiting for !!!! *by G***I on 11 April 2025* I am pleasantly surprised how good this product is, at first I was unsure but thought I would take a punt and I am glad I did. I like how there is multiple different exercises I can accomplish on it. However the instructions are hard to understand. Meaning that yes it labels some of the screw parts you use within each step but not how many and the screw needed in the picture is so small that it is hard to see what direction it goes. On top of that just step 1 and step 2 in the instruction booklet don’t match the video in the product description. The instructions show to install the base bracket and base connector first but the video shows to do the virtual tubes with the base brackets first. Plus the instructions show to install the M10*65 screw with washer at the bottom of the base brackets and the nut on top of the bracket but the video shows them installing one facing up and one facing down and then the next clip of the finished connection in the video shows them all installed facing down. Very inconsistent. So the instruction booklet and the instruction video do not match at all right from the start. Some of the preinstalled roller wheels on the assist assembly roll while the others do not. In my case, 2 of the 4 wheels on the left pole rolls while the other 2 don’t budge. Same issue on the right pole. I tried losing up the screw/nut and tried some lubricant but didn’t resolve it. The assist is not smooth at all. It’s very jerky going up and it doesn’t lift you back to the top where you started. Something I’ll have to get used to as compared to the commercial model machines as the gym that lift all the way up and down with ease with you. All that aside it’s a very nice machine for the price. You get what you paid for. Will continue to use this in my current weekly routine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sportsroyals Power Tower Pull Up Dip Station Assistive Trainer Multi-Function Home Gym Strength Training Fitness Equipment 440LBS - ProsourceFit Puzzle Exercise Mat ½ in, EVA Interlocking Foam Floor Tiles for Home Gym, Mat for Home Workout Equipment, Floor Padding for Kids, Black, 24 in x 24 in x ½ in, 48 Sq Ft - Jump Rope, Tangle-Free Rapid Speed Jumping Rope Cable with Ball Bearings for Women, Men, and Kids, Adjustable Steel Jump Rope Workout with Foam Handles for Fitness, Home Exercise & Slim Body --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/738099991-sportsroyals-power-tower-pull-up-dip-station-assistive-trainer-multi](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/738099991-sportsroyals-power-tower-pull-up-dip-station-assistive-trainer-multi) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
