Love the M-VAVE SMC Pad. I do not like the M-VAVE Pocket Pad.
The ***MINI*** is a horrible play, fingers sore after a few minutes. BUT...the M-VAVE SMC Pad for 30 dollars more, is great! It's from the same company (same listing page here too), and very nice. I love the M-VAVE SMC Pad and use it near constantly. Only use it to play MIDI, and use 2 of t6he keys and 1 knob. I used the included app to make the top left knob control Mod Wheel functions. Other than that use bottom left "Note Repete" sometimes, and use the "Shift" key combined with two two right pads to change octave. I don't use most of the knobs on the left. I don't control my DAW with this, I just use my mouse for that. DAW is Reaper, it works fine with Reaper. I did not set up Bluetooth. I use it wired. Works great. Do not set up "Mackie Control" if you're doing what I'm doing, or you'll drive yourself nuts changing parameters when you just want to play. I put blue painter's tape over the parts I don't use. Here's a pic. Looks like heck but who cares. I don't perform live anymore, this is all for making great albums really fast. I don't control loops, just VST synths, and one-shot samples I make from recording natural sounds. BipTunia album "Crime Wave Variations" entirely done like this if you want to hear.

Cheap Chinese Trash
This unit is terrible. When I turned it on, I enjoyed the ease of programmability of the unit. However, when I turned it off and turned it on the next time, it does not load the patches correctly. The button I press does not match with the button that lights up, and the incorrect action is also performed. It will not fix no matter what. The unit is awful and I will be returning. Never purchase from this seller, this is cheap Chinese stuff.

Great tiny controller
It's great, I use the 16-pads version to control Ardour DAW with custom MIDI bindings. It shows as a midi device via bluetooth. I love how small it is, perfect little transport bar, or square rather. Only cons IMO: The words "PAD 5", PAD 6", etc. are pointless/meaningless really. I wish they somehow made them customizable so we could maybe slide a paper label in the key, but since they're rubber it would be difficult to do. I don't think labels tape would stick well so I'll have to remember what all 16 keys do.
