Review: Great bushcraft knife for every purpose, at a reasonable price! - This is my third or fourth personal HX Outdoors knife purchase. (I have purchased a few other for friends, nieces, co-workers and more.) And this one is absolutely one of my favorites! I love the feel, balance and sharpness of this blade. I loved that it had a fire starter in the sheath. I appreciate that the sheath design has some drainholes in the bottom, so water doesn't get stuck in there. This is just a fantastic value! I wish I had purchased two!

This is my third or fourth personal HX Outdoors knife purchase. (I have purchased a few other for friends, nieces, co-workers and more.) And this one is absolutely one of my favorites! I love the feel, balance and sharpness of this blade. I loved that it had a fire starter in the sheath. I appreciate that the sheath design has some drainholes in the bottom, so water doesn't get stuck in there. This is just a fantastic value! I wish I had purchased two!

First of all great presentation, although a bit wasteful. Knife is sharp, and strong. Handle is comfortable and doesn't slip in your hand, even wet. Good size for most tasks, not to bulky, allows for easier handling. Ferro rod works great, and the whistle is loud. When you push the knife into the sheath, and it stops it does rattle a little bit, but if you push a little further the knife goes into the sheath properly and sit quietly with no rattle. Just gotta push past the first stop. Overall great buy, would definitely recommend.
