I also used a double wide footmuff which acted like a sleeping bag for my kids' feet at night (regardless of rain or not). I just can't seem to find the name of that double side by side footmuff (7AM?) right now. Needless to say, my kids were always warm, dry, and toasty with this setup. Good luck!
