SOOOO much easier and gives you WAY more options than a traditional mechanical, tension clip. And I LOVE the compact size compared to all those big, clunky things you see sooo many people using lately. SO much less distracting in your images. And the price!??!?! It's unbelievably affordable. I'd gladly pay $100, maybe even $200 for this mic! Is it AS GOOD as a $1000, pro-level mic? NO. Is it as good as a $300 semi-pro mic? Probably not. But I think most people would have to have them side-by-side to notice a difference. (if there was any at all) As far as any negatives... Mostly trivial! I wish it had a hard case to store everything in. BUT the "box" does have well-fitted compartments, so I guess that will get the job done! And the magnets are so strong that if one mic is in the charging base, the other will try to yank it out as you try to put it in next to it.
