(My wife just confirmed, sorry for mis-info.)My wife shown me once and the tape doesn't have split backing. It's a one-piece long tape, best to gather whatever you want to print and make space between then print (Ours label printer model is Brother P-touch 1100L). If you print your label one by one then it will waste a lot of tape, because the empty space (about 1/4 - 1/2 inch) at the head and tail of each print is hard-coded and no way to adjust it. **Q: Will this work with the P-touch 1880?** A: The model that I have is the T2030 P-Touch, so I don't know if it will work on your model. Look it up on the Brother website. **Q: Can these labels dishwasher safe?** A: I didn't order tape from this site, but yes, if it's the brother TZ laminated tape it has been dishwasher safe in my dishwasher.
