Among The Stars: The Ambassadors is the first expansion to the acclaimed game, Among The Stars. In order to assist in the construction of their space stations, each alien race has formed a team of Ambassadors to visit other space stations in need. These Ambassadors are willing to offer their services and strengthen the bonds of the newly-formed alliance... usually for a price. This expansion provides players with a fourth game action, enabling them to invite Ambassadors to their space station. Ambassadors come with different strengths and abilities based on their alien race. This expansion features more than 160 new cards, including Ambassador cards, new Location cards, Objectives, Alien races, and new Conflict cards. This expansion also contains materials and rules for 5th and 6th players.

Review: Build the best station! - This game is a lot of fun for two reasons: 1) You can play it uber competitively and go for MAX POINTS EVER! 2) You can play it casually and just see who can build the coolest station In short, its great to play with the family or wife, as you can mix it up based on the night. The game is a lot like 7 wonders. Each player starts the "year" with 6 tiles. They play one tile, then pass it along. Each tile scores points, costs money, and may alter the rules. Its simple, but nice and easy to play. Also, there is an official 2-player version that my wife and I play frequently, and it lends itself well to both play styles as well. Not as clean as a 3-4 player game, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.

This game is a lot of fun for two reasons: 1) You can play it uber competitively and go for MAX POINTS EVER! 2) You can play it casually and just see who can build the coolest station In short, its great to play with the family or wife, as you can mix it up based on the night. The game is a lot like 7 wonders. Each player starts the "year" with 6 tiles. They play one tile, then pass it along. Each tile scores points, costs money, and may alter the rules. Its simple, but nice and easy to play. Also, there is an official 2-player version that my wife and I play frequently, and it lends itself well to both play styles as well. Not as clean as a 3-4 player game, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.
