This is a normcore product which are supposed to be half decent so I thought I have to give it a go..At first I rolled my eyes as I thought all the comments were right as it did not stay attached to my basket when using my wdt after grinding! I investigated and magnets were indeed there, so I thought I'd try another basket and what do you know, super strong magnet.Please please check your baskets!! Cheap baskets will have lower quality stainless steel which is NOT magnetic such as 304/316.Stainless steel which IS magnetic is 410/420/440.This is an absolute fantastic product and makes life a lot easier for not making a mess and having no annoying gaps such as some other products that insert within the basket. The magnets are strong and hold the funnel to the portafilter well. The portafilter can be turned upside down and shaken somewhat without the funnel falling. I mention this because I’ve seen the other review that suggests the magnets do not work, I would suggest that somehow they had faulty/demagnetised magnets as I think the level of magnetisation here is spot on.I like that this funnel does don’t interfere or touch the coffee grounds in the basket, I have seen some other that leave a ridge around the circumference of the filter basket.My only issue is the price, I do think it’s slightly excessive.
