Can we just use soap and water?" YES! And we should just use soap and water!!! Antibiotics are specific to a specific bacteria. The ones in antibacterial products do the same job they do in your body when you are sick and take things like penicillin, an antibiotic. They kill most of the bacteria but some don't die and learn to avoid dying with that type of antibiotics. Also to note, Bacitracin is an expensive antibiotic which only treats bacteria on the skin. Neosporin treats and kills bacteria on the skin. Bacitracin is 1 specific antibiotic, while Neosporin has 3 wide range antibiotics. Using antibiotic products is often unnecessary and dangerous. Once that type of antibiotic doesn't kill a type of bacteria anymore we have no way to fight it until someone discovers a new one. When I first refilled my dispenser, I thought it was super runny, but after using it for a while I noticed it wasn't ever a problem and just looked like it might be but it was an illusion. Lol. I just wash dishes as I go since there are just two of us here and I can't justify wasting all the water in the dishwasher nor do I even have enough dishes to fill it. I just put a tiny bit of soap on a sponge and a little water each time I'm finished with eating and cooking. I noticed this definitely works better than anything else I've used even their regular version. It's the scent I have always remembered. It does well with grease. I'm going to eventually try this on some oil stains left over on the garage floor to see how well it does. Initially I used some baking soda and a white eraser, and I'll use this and do some extra polishing and see what I can pull off. I actually stopped ordering this for years getting the cheapest stuff available, and boy, there's a huge difference and it ends up being the same cost since you need to use far more soap and most of it doesn't sud up well. Even if it still was a better value to go the other way, this just works far better with everything being squeaky clean when I'm done with hardly any effort at all.
