I hit my bear slightly forward of ideal, it broke through the scapula and hit both lungs before sailing through the bear into the dirt behind it. Blood trail was easy to follow but not crazy. My buddy hit his bear perfect through the ribs and caught both lungs and the tip of the heart. The arrow sailed through the bear and buried itself into a tree about an inch deep. Blood trail was crazy easy to follow and the bear only went 17 yards. Highly recommend these broadheads. Oh ya, both of our setups shot them to exact point of impact to our field points at 30 yards. Review: Time proven and easy to sharpen - Montecs are a great, time-proven broadhead. They fly well with field points, work with basically any bow setup, and are super easy to sharpen. All you need is a whetstone or a flat surface and sandpaper—just set the broadhead down flat and hone the edge. Because of this, they are reusable and a great value compared to other broadheads. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000IENPX2 | | Amazon.co.jp での取り扱い開始日 | 2013/9/15 | | おすすめ度 | 4.6 5つ星のうち4.6 (392) var | | 製品サイズ | 5 x 4 x 4 cm; 31.18 g | | 製品型番 | 110 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** G5 Outdoors - **Shape:** Flower - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 50 x 40 x 40 mm - **Item Weight:** 1.1 Ounces - **UPC:** 817990001104 ## Images ![G 5 Outdoors Montec 1-1/8-Inch Cut Broadheads (3-Pack), 125 Grain - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51G2UhS5fxL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do these fly exactly like field tips?** A: Mine shot about 6 inches lower then my field points for everything out past like 10-15 yards. I had to move my pins for that other side they seem pretty consistent. I do wish that they came with a practice tip. **Q: I just recently bought a barnett droptine str 380fps crossbow & purchased the carbon express piledriver crossbolts.would these broadheads be any good** A: HI! LUIS R. believe it when I tell you how strong the G-5 100 grain-montec broad-heads are!! one year I split a 9or 10 th rib and still took-out both lungs- it was one of those odd-angle shots, but he was starting to look like he was going to turn and run away.you know some time you have to take the shot that is presented to you,{ or later kick your self for not taking it. any way I had to re-sharpen the three blades, but only a few passes with a fine-tooth file, and I used the same broad-head to take a big doe a month later! it's a great broad-head !! hope this help's, and good luck in the coming hunting season! **Q: Will it fit a 5/16 in arrow?** A: Montec will fit all standard size arrows. The cutting diameter is much larger than the arrow shaft allowing zero to little drag on the arrow shaft. **Q: What are the best broadheads that give the deer a lot of damage but is accurate at close range but also up to 60/70 yards** A: Justin,The Montec would work great for you as well as the T3 or the new broadhead we are going to release in a month or 2 called the Deadmeat. If you do choose the Montec please also get a pack of the Montec Preseason broadheads to be used for practice and sighting in. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the trick!! *by J***N on 2023年8月17日にカナダでレビュー済み* A buddy and I killed a black bear each with the 125gr Montecs and both performed perfectly.
