Installing the wireless card was incredibly effortless. Initially, I didn't have any wifi icon on my screen and so after having it diagnosed, I bough this a did it myself saving $500. It took me no more than 8mins to complete the job using YouTube. I'm now motivated to finally upgrade my old 2012 MacBook pro into a beast of a machine. I'm now confident to upgrade my drive to SSD and replace RAM to start. This wireless card saved my sanity. I upgraded my late 2011 MacBook Pro to enable continuity and the advanced hand off capabilities of the newer MacBooks. Installing it was a breeze. Note: I have a lot of experience in IT and Macs. Another note: To enable continuity on the later MacBook you need to run a script that enables it.
