NZXT designs and builds these cabinets which are a few touches above the very good ones that are out there. The Phantom 240 is the entry level model of the Phantom series. This series boasts of the most customizable cabinets anywhere and it shows all the way to the Phantom 820, the eldest sibling. The design of the cabinets/ cases in this series is sleek, edgy and curvaceous. The higher models in the series have all the bells and whistles and then some.As for the 240, it is spacious, well planned and well executed. For a casual user (read gamer) and quasi enthusiast this is among if not the best entry level case I could have bought.The case itself is metal (inside) and plastic, sturdy and the powder coating (matte finish) is uniform and classy. The orange streak/highlight gives it the soupçon of added style. This is one of the only entry level models of any brand out there that provides for HDD/SSD sliding cages with optional screws for fastening. The packaging comes with a multitude of screws, bolts, cable ties to justify a premium product.Analysis:1. Where I could have purchased a lesser product for less than half the price of the 240, I would have ended up with a lot of show and no go.2. The 240 has a windowed side panel, but the window is plastic and not tempered glass as is all the rage nowadays. But hey! this is still an entry level model.3. The front USB 3.0 ports are actually on the top, and the top is angled and arched. So, one can't keep anything on top of the case. Plugging in a USB dongle is fine (the purchase is solid and precise), but it would be virtually impossible to plug in an external HDD/SSD without a piece of furniture kept near- flush with the case where the HDD/SSD, plugin etc. would rest. (Or there's always the cumbersome back panel)4. There are plenty of grilles for ventilation. No more where the interior would gather dust and no less that it would cook the interior.5. The interior has plenty of room for a casual or quasi enthusiast set up. If you are a hard core user (read gamer or modder) you are going to need the 240's bigger siblings.6. Keeping to it's entry level status, the 240 does not come with any dust filters (except the one on the bottom). The higher models come with sliding filters which can be cleaned easily.7. The cable management is made easier and cleaner with the back plate (right side) providing plenty of convenient openings. There are no rubber grommets in the 240 (except for the two on the rear panel), but the higher models do.8. The HDD/SSD sliding cages are a wee bit on the clumsy side as compared to the higher models but a casual/ quasi enthusiast isn't presumably going to fiddle with the innards too much. Then of course there are the screws which will hold them fast.9. The front panel swing open to reveal three slots for the optical drives. I would recommend leaving the top slot alone and installing the drives in either of the remaining slots. You see the top of the case juts out and hangs over the front panel by a couple of inches and is a bit obtrusive for the top slot.10. The chassis is silent as a tomb. Currently I am running a 4 fan push-pull configuration at stock speeds, and the set up is deathly silent.As for the delivery, the seller is superb. And Amazon not be outdone, shipped the already fortified shipping box in another box double it's size and filled it with packaging materials. All in all a most satisfying buying experience.That's all I can think of for now. Think Cabinets/ cases think NZXT.CIAO ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well built cabinet *by R***. on Reviewed in India on 15 September 2019* The price of the product according to current market is little bit on the higher side. The quality of the entire cabinet is very good. There are two small issues as far as I am concerned. One is the HDD trays inside, its not strongly built and the removable plastic holders feels clumsy and there is a fear of breaking it. The locks of these trays are not perfect, some times feels it will come off from the metal case easily. The second one is the power supply cables exposed inside the cabinet. For perfect cable management, they could have provided a cover right above the smps to hide those cables. There are amble spaces inside the cabinet to route your cables. There is amble space for your display card and for multiple HDDS and SSDs. In the front there is a compartment to open to see your CD drive is an additional feature and I love it and that is the main reason I bought this cabinet. If the company can also provide micro ATX cabinets with the same designs with a lesser price, there will be much more sale from that section of people also according to me.
