On the boards it is supposed to be noticeable, this isn't. It doesn't have a memory as far as last mode when turned off BUT it does fire up in medium mode as a default. It's so hard to find a light with a memory as you have to buy it to know. Still a good light just no last on memory and probably not a XM-L2 T6. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maybe a good 250-300 lumens. Not 700 *by M***8 on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2014* Definitely not 700 lumens. Maybe 250-300 based on a comparison with a co workers stream light. I purchased already knowing that 700 lumens would be a load of bull and I expected it's actual output to be about half which turned out to be correct. It's an excellent value and I'm very pleased with the light. I think it's wrong to false advertise though.
