It took 5 minutes to swap out the keyboard in my Samsung R530 laptop. I did watch a few videos on You Tube beforehand, as I have never done this type of thing before. I needed a set of small screwdrivers (which I had), but that was all. The keyboard that I received even had the little bumps on the F and J keys (as per my original Samsung keyboard). The only "negative" was that the ribbon part (sorry, I don't know the technical term) on the back of the keyboard, which connects it to the laptop, is slightly shorter than the one on my original keyboard, so it took about 3 tries to get it inserted correctly. However, it's not really a negative, just something to be aware of, as you may need a second pair of hands to help (although I managed it on my own!). Have used it for a few weeks and it's tip top.
