Are there any bolt/screw holes?** A: Yes you can anchor it down if you wish, there are some holes at the bottom of each vertical leg. You can either make your own brackets, or we can supply 4 brackets for Β£5. Unless you are very, very exposed, you only really need to anchor it if the cold frame is being placed on top of a low wall or a timber base. The weight of the glass tends to prevent the cold frame from lifting, but if there are very strong gusts of wind from one direction then the frame might move sideways slightly - not a problem on the ground but it would be a problem if it were on top of something. **Q: is it rust proof?** A: This is made from architectural aluminium so won’t ever rust. The framework has a 25year guarantee. **Q: Can you grow vegetables year round in this?** A: It depends where you are in the country and what varieties you wish to grow. In the south of England then you will probably get growth all year round - further north then you will probably not get much growth of crops in December or January, as there is not enough power in the sun. In the English Midlands I have had days in February when the temperatures inside have risen to 20 degrees C - high enough for the plants to photosynthesise - as the glass will trap the heat of the sun.
