It is too big though for my 5 yr old daughter and her average size head. What I did is follow another customer's idea (given here in her feedback) - I used safety pins and put BOTH fit pads inside the helmet and... it works :) It now sits pretty firmly on my daughter's head, we'll see whether it stays like that after the first few rides ;) I generally recommend this product and don't mind it being a bit too big.
