Or is it more like regular fabric?** A: The bamboo pillow protectors are really, really nice. Soft and smooth and dont sleep hot. I had silk lined pillow protectors, and I like these much better. No noise, no crinkle, just lovely softness. I cover my pillows in these bamboo protectors and then use silk pillowcases and the bamboo under neath the silk makes the silk extra smooth! **Q: do these protect against dust mites?** A: The products says it does, I don't know. But I do know I have been sleeping better and breathing better since I started snuggling up to these pillow cases. Personally, I think it is a great product for dust mites. **Q: Where are these manufactured?** A: I'm not sure. I ordered these and within a week they were delivered. I did wash before use. No issues.
