Review: Gorgeous doll - I collect dolls that reflect our family heritage, Celtic for me and Polish/Russian for my husband, that being said this is the most beautiful doll in my collection. The quality is top notch, the dress is simple and elegant and the whole effect is that of a beautiful Russian lady. The doll itself has a gorgeous face with a lovely thick braid and graceful pose. These are collector dolls, I would never think of changing the clothes or taking out the braid. She is a perfect addition to my collection.

Her lovely blonde hair is barided in an elegant sideswept braid and the style of her dress is accurate( I'm Russian-American and I should kno. The detail of the red boots is another plus; as my previous two dolls from this series spotrted the standard " Barbie Pump shoes" . I appreciate the simpler packaging, as my Princess of Imperial Russia doll was MUCH easier to remove than were the previous two dolls I'd purchased.

We purchased a few different Barbies in this theme and the Imperial doll allowed for a contrast in the costumes if the time. In particular the headdress is so different than those found in the other dolls. It arrived just as expected and shown in the images.
