In practice this translates in a couple of seconds in quicker cutting on an average limb. For me, being a horticulturalist it's worth it. For you it may not be. I use the medium for general use and the large toothed for larger limbs. I also have a fine toothed blade for delicate tasks. For me, the nuances of pruning require more precision in the use of tools/blades. **Q: What is the best silky saw for cutting bone for hunting?** A: Saws with medium teeth work best. We have found the GomBoy 121-21 works best (ASIN B000CEAX8S). **Q: how long is it when folded?** A: It fits in typical pocket sticking out just slightly. I can't recommend this thing enough though, it cuts like a hot knife though butter. **Q: how long is it when folded?** A: 8.125 inches long when folded. ## Frequently Bought Together - Silky Professional Series PocketBoy Folding Saw 170mm Medium Teeth (340-17) - Silky Professional BIGBOY Folding Saw 360mm Large Teeth (354-36) - Silky Professional BIGBOY 2000 Folding Saw 360mm XL Teeth (356-36) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/764970943-silky-folding-landscaping-hand-saw-pocketboy-170-medium-teeth-340](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/764970943-silky-folding-landscaping-hand-saw-pocketboy-170-medium-teeth-340) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
