Rounded olive-green leaves splashed with purple that fades with age characterize the Water Lily Chromatella. Sweet smelling canary yellow blossoms 6”-7” in diameter remain open longer than most other varieties of water lily. Also known as the “Golden Cup” due to its cup-shaped flowers, Water Lily Chromatella adds interest when placed among other varieties of water lilies in the pond or water garden. Chromatella adapts readily to any size pond or water garden and can even be grown successfully in tubs or barrels

## Features

- Water Lily Chromatella is winter hardy, and once placed in the pond it will survive harsh winters as long as the tuber remains below the ice level of the pond. Dormancy will end when the water warms
- Growing Instructions: Water lilies require sun to grow properly. They begin to bloom when water temperatures reach 60⁰ F, and will bloom year round in frost-free regions.

    bought 5 of them--3 died, 2 grow!

I bought 5 of them in different colors (purple, yellow, white ..) about 4 weeks ago. I received them very quick. On the box said guaranted to grow...I was so excited to place them in myPond. However after 3 weeks, 3 of them died (they sink to the bottom and never grow any bigger, and turn soft at the head). Only 2 of them grow. Hope the two that still survive bloom in the summer, they are still very small though. I think i should contact the seller for $ back.

Unfortunately, it arrived rotten with fungus on it. I have cleaned it and hoping it will produce new shoots but at this point I have no hope. The tuber is soggy and covered in mold.
