There's lots of free resources on the Jolly Phonics website but I wasn't 100 percent sure I was teacher her in a structured way and was worried about us both getting lost in the learning process or wasting time doing it inefficiently. I saw this pack on the jollyPhonics website. I am glad I didn't pay the RRP as I feel it would be overpriced. I paid just over £50 which I feel is still on the steep side but the main thing is we've had a really fun first night and my daughter is really excited she has her own phonics stuff at home and recognised what it was. Overall I think it's a really useful resource it means I now know where to lead and where to step back and the books youCan print pages yourself and the stories are actually really good. The DVD is a bit dated but the characters are the same so she didn't seem to mind. Got for half price but would not pay full price.DVD is fun, kids watch it but the episodes are very long.Music CD is great covers all the sounds but kids prefer watching them on UTube with the phonics actions.The music book has the words and actions to go with the cd.Story book is same as the dvd, but it's nice to dip in and out as bedtime stories.Kids love the A1 sized poster.Only disappointment was the activity books. Lots of pages with pointless activities -make an 's' shape from cress seeds and watch it grow, a double page spread and one large 's' for them to trace. They're in full colour with a thin card cover, but I just don't rate them as 'sit down and do' books. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun learning *by M***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2013* Fantastic product so impressed with all contents and the snakes head holding pencils is good, my young one reached for and wanted to explore it straight away as it looked fun. In side the activity books are sticker books ideal for mine, the CD has lots of fun learning games which has three levels from easy to hard. The DVD is 2hrs and 55 mins long which has mine glued. The songs are fun and easy to sing with song book provided.
