"$1,200" was the reply. I figured buying it on Amazon for $100 was a small price to pay and according to YouTube self-installing was easy. Even if I screwed up, I could still let the Caddilac dealer fix it. If I was successful self-installing it, I'd save $1,100. Long story short, I bought the touch-screen on Amazon and paid a local auto-repair shop to install it for only $135. Savings was $965. I hated and still hate the CUE system and it's navigation so I wasn't going to pay that much to fix it. I heard about this screen and ordered it. That was two years ago. I paid a local garage $150 to install. However, my AM station had severe intermittent static afterwards probably because of a loose antenna wire. The dealer just tuned the station to FM.
