Plant the root with shoots facing upward. **Q: Is there any spray inhibitors or anything like that?** A: This was beautiful fresh organic ginger at a great price. I cut the ginger into smaller pieces and freeze it. I take it out when needed, scrape off the peeling and grate it right away.
