We installed the original one 6 years ago. The design on all of these are somewhat flawed, but unless someone can defy the laws of gravity and water, it's just the way it is. Anytime your hands are wet and the button is pushed, a drop or two is more than likely going to make its way down. 6 years on the original one of this EXACT same model, color, etc ain't all that bad in comparison to the VERY expensive, big-name brand one I had in a previous house. It seemed like every year, it was needing to be replaced ... for one reason or another. The finish on this one holds up really well! Continued to look brand new throughout the years. It matches my oil rubbed bronze faucet and antique finish hammered copper front apron sink perfectly.
