Full color directions are very clear and easy to follow even for novice quilters. Kim Diehl has 3 other books out. I own all of them and have made many of her designs. Many of the quilts featured in this book are square and are of a size that make great wall hangings and table toppers. 'Simple Comforts' makes a great addition to my quilt library.

This book contains 12 beautiful quilt patterns. Half of the quilts feature applique in them, which I think is one of the things this designer does best. I love Kim Diehl's designs!! I have actually stopped all of my quilting magazine subscriptions in order to save some $$ so I can buy all of her books. Her designs are fresh, colorful and fun to make. I hate to over-work the dear lady but I want her to hurry up with the next book! Book arrived in excellent condition and sooner than I had even expected. Beautiful, beautiful designs!
