## Description

Pilot fount pen CON-70 converter

Review: This is my favorite pilot converter and it's not as hard to clean as people say - This converter is the best converter pilot has on their pens. Mine did end up being a CON 70n which does have differences between the regular but are often sold in the same lot. The ink flow was perfect and it had no leaking. It looks nice in my kakuno and with its larger ink capacity than a con 40 it shows off more of it. The capacity also means that you have to clean it less often. This was a good value when combined with a kakuno. Being able to use whatever ink you want is a huge perk of these. Who is it for: people who want to best pilot converter and are willing to pay a little more, People who hate screwing piston converters, People who want larger ink capacity, people who like bottled ink Who isn't it for: people who really want to save a few dollars for a con 40, people willing to fill old cartridges with an ink syringe, people who like using cartridges anyway, Tip: submerge the tip in water and repeatedly press the button to eject ink into a cup or shot glass dedicated to ink pens. This will do 95% of your cleaning that people like to complain about. Just keep doing it until it is clean and rinse out the water to get it fully clean. Flicking the converter can make water droplets travel down since it will stick to the sides thanks to physics.
Review: If you have a Kakuno get this ASAP! - This is what Pilot Kakuno SHOULD come with! It holds quite a bit of ink and is very simple to use once you know how (it’s not like most converters).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this converter fit the Pilot Metropolitan?**
A: The Pilot CON-70 converter WILL NOT FIT the Pilot Metropolitan pen. Fortunately, this excellent converter will DEFINITELY fit the following PILOT Fountain pens (which I own):
1) Pilot Kakuno (superb fountain pen with the same NIB used in the more expensive Metropolitan and Prera series of fountain pens). BTW: The Kakuno is available with Extra-Fine, Fine, and Medium nib sizes. High Quality at a low price.
2) Pilot Explorer - another SUPERB model with the trademark smooth stainless steel nib. Nibs available are limited to FINE and MEDIUM.
3) The Pilot 912, which sports a GOLD NIB. The 912 is available in a huge variety of nib sizes, ranging from FINE and going up to Broad, Calligraphy, and the „Music“ nib (used by musicians to document/write music).

**Q: would this fit in Parellel Pens?**
A: No. This converter is too large for a Pilot Parallel. It's for the much bigger Pilot pens like the Custom Heritage 912, Justus, and Metal Falcon. If you want a converter for Pilot Parallel Pens you should look at the CON-20 or the CON-50 converters.

**Q: Does this device allow for cheaper ink refills for the Pilot Parallel Caligraphy Pens? I'm a bit confused on what this does exactly. Thanks.**
A: yes! sorry for the very late response, but what this device does is turn the parallel into a refillable pen that you can use with bottled fountain pen ink.
the squeeze converter (the con-20, a little bladder that you can squeeze) that usually comes with the parallel does the same thing, this is just a different operating mechanism.

**Q: Wondering if this will fit the namiki falcon?**
A: No, it will not fit the Falcon.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's plastic, It's pilot, Its a CON-70 pen converter!
*by A***W on July 7, 2026*

It's plastic, It's pilot, Its a con-70 pen converter. There's nothing really to say about it as it works perfectly, holds a lot of ink, and doesn't interfere with ink flow. About a cartridge and a half in size and works in most pilot pens. Expensive for what your getting but if you use a lot of ink it will be worth it.
