I kept the original shocks, the ride is a little more bouncy and rough, but not as rough as i expected. I am very pleased. Makes my truck look bigger and aggressive. I plan on installing a 1.5 inch lift on the rear to make it more level with front. I have a 2012 ram 1500 crew cab and my mechanic had no issue with the installation.
