It will numb things pretty well but you need a pretty heavy dose, it lasts 15 seconds, Where the prescription version will last 1 minute or more. When you search for the original product this comes up in all searches. They do not advertise this product completely accurate in my opinion but you have to read. It is a little expensive for what you get, especially If you use it often. So just be aware and know what this is you are purchasing. Overall I am very pleased with this product.
