    Easy install, solved a troublesome exhaust leak

I purchased two of these to solve an issue related to rust on my Volvo 240. The original split flange succumbed to rust after 27 years, leaving my car sounding like a four-door dirtbike. With my unwillingness to remove any additional exhaust components these flanges worked perfectly to secure the downpipe back to the catalytic convertor. Time will tell how well these hold up to rust, but I was able to close the leak without bending the brackets by over-tightening. I'd recommend these to other people facing a similar problem, make sure you buy the correct size for your exhaust, and you should be able to get back on the road without waking up the neighbors in under ten minutes.
