My game of choice to test these boards is GANTZ - THE GAME (Japanese Release Only). Its tough on the US systems and this board crucified my tests. Scene skipping which on lesser boards freezes and crashes the system zooms through the HDD as it access the necessary game files without any problems. Unlike the GAME STAR this board allows for the NETWORK ability to remain and functional. (YES, people still use that to transfer games ISO's and play online. (Doesn't get better than that for RETRO-GAMERS.) I can't say enough about this product and its quality. Fully recommended product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job with a little know how *by L***I on April 15, 2021* This does what it says it will. Converted my network adapter to accept the newer hard drives. It however did take a small modification to get it to work. The spacers provided that go behind the board to push it out far enough to actually attach the hard drive to the network adapter where too thick. When I installed it my 3.5" hard drive pushed the network adapter far enough away from the back of the PlayStation that adapter was not plugged into the PlayStation completely and it could not find the hard drive or the network capability of the adapter. I was able to use some sandpaper to make them the right thickness.
