But the bottom line is that the Hungarians I spoke my Pimsleur Hungarian with seemed genuinely impressed, and I understand quite a bit of spoken Hungarian now. One of the things I like most is that I can pop in a CD and learn whilst I drive or doing menial work around the house. Most methods now seem to cater to sitting in front of a computer, which I do enough of already in my life. I rated this one a bit lower because Hungarian is a difficult language and the Pimsleur method does a reasonably good job of it. I state reasonably as I belive more practice is required before moving along to the next module.
