Review: Um, It's Eazy... - At the age of 9 in 1989 I bought my first Eazy-E & Rap album. Yes, record album. I had a turntable and my neighbor had this on cassette tape and we would listen to it non stop. Sam Goody had the album and my Momma bought it for me having no idea what it was. Haha. I played this until my record was raw. and eventually bought the cassette and CD 2 years later. Anyway, I still have the OG Vinyl Album sealed that I bought from Blockbuster Music in 1994, They had a huge stack of Eazy-E & Bone Thugs Albums. I'm assuming they found these original albums in storage somewhere and put them out with the then brand new Bone Thugs-N-Harmony "Creepin On Ah Come Up" vinyl albums. I grabbed 2 each and still have them today. I've also bought any and all Priority/EMI re-releases of this album and believe me, this is still one of Priority/EMI/Island Records Money Maker from the past. I assume that due to the 5 plus releases of the same album over the past 30 PLUS YEARS!!!! Anyway, This is a high quality pressing and re-release of this classic album compared to the 2002 re-release pressing that Priority did. Those covers were photocopied and the sound was meh. This album uses the original album cover with the original Parental Advisory Stamp (Yes kids, there was a time when the current trademarked advisory was used and back then the record company was not required to put any advisory on an album). Assuming that Ruthless Records or Priority Records placed this Advisory on to avoid any lawsuits, trouble, or high rate of returns. Also, I would assume that Eric "Eazy-E" would be absolutely floored by the record sales of this album. It was around 1 million plus when Eric passed away and now it sits at 3 MILLION PLUS. It's a shame that Eric had to pass away and leaving Ruthless in shambles due to his Black Widow running it into the ground. If Eazy would be alive today, We would have seen a few more of these Eazy-E / Dr. Dre & DJ Yella Produced Albums. N.W.A. was so close to getting back together then Eazy passed away with a quickness. Rest In Peace Eric "Eazy-E" Wright 11523
Review: Eazy's debut album, hits on every gangsta note". - For many,...that don't know N.W.A. as we do on the Westcoast, the closes way I could explain the significance of this album is this;...If it weren't for Dre, Cube & Ren this album would NOT exist. Eazy basically refused to do an album, even though he was involved in the production of N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton" lp. But both Dre & Cube Pushed Eazy E to do a track called "Boyz N Da Hood"...And when that track was published, the birth of (EazyDuz It) was born. With that little back story out of the way, the production value of this album is 'top-notch" quality, and the audiophiles have been transferred in pristine condition. The pressing is on point! And the result is an album that delivers on the expectations of quality & presentation. I have listened to this album on cassette tape, on cd format, & lp format,...and in my opinion, this album outshines even the cd format. I highly recommend this album, if you're a fan of the genre.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Believe all the hype and 5 star reviews

What can I say tht hasn't already been said about this classic in rap? Eazy E is definitely a legend and inspiration and he proves it here. He might not write all his rhymes but his delivery is the most entertaining and refreshing you'll hear on any rap album. He has a natural charisma that just takes over and there isn't one skip song on this. It's too bad Dre and Eazy had to have that feud and fall-out because they worked much better together than without each other. The lyrics were gangsta rap still but they had an element of playfulness and fun. The production has an overalll feeling that can't be duplicated because Dre's funky, not quite G Funk production but extremely good, production and Eazy's one of a kind lyric delivery and natural flow compliment each other so well. When people say this is the blueprint for what was to come on the West coast, that's accurate but the big difference is that on here nobody was beefing, they were having fun. As far as guest MC'ing on here, MC Ren is good when he comes on the mic but this is the Eazy show and he lets you know. It's hard to take this out of the CD player, I spun this 4 times before taking it out just lately. A must buy for any fan of rap, Eazy E, or NWA.
