It was more of a "chewy" type of dry than "crunchy," which admittedly was not what I was expecting. It was pretty salty and the shrimp tasted a little watered down, but I don't think that is anything against this product specifically; that is probably how this is supposed to taste. I liked it and the size was more than enough for my recipe.
