But be forwarned: I was ripped off bigtime. I bought mine through Amazon as NEW IN BOX. For $800 or thereabouts. When I opened it, it looked complete. It looked like from the factory. It was not. It had been completely gutted. All jumpers missing. No firmware. All configs deleted. Completely devoid of any intelligence. It took a pro installer 2 days and 3-4 hrs on the phone with Audison to get the processor back into working order. I filed a claim but I was not reimbursed. The seller never responded. I complained to Amazon but after a few exchanges, I dropped the case. The unit works now, but probably will never function as well as a genuine factory-fresh unit. It still has power-up pops and also drains my car battery, so I need to unplug it from power whenever I leave the vehicle off for more than a couple of days. A new one probably has a power-off program that can be configured, or the installer wasn't as good as I thought and did not install an inline power-off switch. Sorry for the rant. Just be careful. Know the seller - WELL!! **Q: Does it make the bass sound cleaner ?
