**Q: Does this magnify what you’re looking at?**
A: No. It just cuts the surface glare so you can clearly see what's below the surface of the water.

**Q: Would this float or sink if dropped in water? Would this be suitable for a child to use leaning over a kayak edge?**
A: It floats pretty well as long as it doesn't completely fill up with water. And it's perfect for kids who wanna see underwater stuff over a small boat/kayak. Also great for tide pools

Very handy tool! It's definitely better in a calm water setting- not the ocean where there's waves, lol! It was still handy but fighting the waves made it tough, which is no fault of the product! For a calm river or even bay side ocean where waves aren't such an issue it's perfect for seeing world under the sea!
