I used rubbing alcohol to remove excess around edge. **Q: Will sweat wear away at this?** A: With my experience it hasn't unless it's a lot, but as long as you Pat at it to make it sticky before applying anything, you should be good! If you don't tap it until it gets sticky it will not stick. I've seen it hold light things like prosthetics, big gems etc. This stuff holds really well. I fist tried it in 2005 and still use it.
