Review: Good product - Added a heaters to my IR Sauna and wanted to be sure I addressed any potential concerns with RF or EF that the heater wiring may add. Installed easily and since it’s basically braided metal you’ll need something more that basic scissors to cut.
Review: 10 outta 10 would buy again - Great stuff. Worked perfectly for what I needed it for and that was for shielding audio cables that I have been making. The only complaint I had and it’s really not a complaint. It was just trying to handle carefully and figuring out the best way to get the wires through without poking a hole. I ended up using a ball point pen to leed the way though and at the same time stretched it out for easy install. I got the 1/8in size and it stretched out to about 3/8in. 10 outta 10 would buy again.

**Q: How large does the 3/4" size expand to?**
A: I would say a safe expansion range would be about 20-25%. So the 3/4" would be able to expand to about 0.93". Just remember that the more it expands, the more the strands separate, which then you can see through to whatever you are protecting.Also, make sure to keep the ends together as they will probably fray and you will lose a few inches of sleeving, this is common with most braided sleeving.

**Q: What is the temperature range where the braiding can be used?**
A: Melt Temp (ASTM D-2117) 449°F/232°C, so i would say 100°F less than the melt point would be a maximum safe operating temp. So below 349°F temperatures.

**Q: Whats internal diamater? I need tk fit 1/2 inside it.**
A: It stretches to fit

**Q: Q:Need to shield a webcam wire that is getting electrical interference. what is the minimum diameter that will fit a 16x8mm usb plug when expanded?**
A: In order to find what min diameter needed for your rectangle usb plug, you must turn your rectangle into a circle. Based your your measurements, the min would be 0.6" diameter (15.2mm). so the nominal size option of 1" (0.62" diameter) would be the minimum recommended size... This is all based on your measurement.

Great stuff. Worked perfectly for what I needed it for and that was for shielding audio cables that I have been making. The only complaint I had and it’s really not a complaint. Worked great as a wire shield for a 1997 F350 7.3. Make sure you still wrap the drain (bare silver wire) around the shield to make good contact. Was used when replacing the injector and glow plug connectors. Easily fits around the 3 de pinned connectors with a bit of tape around them to make the shield slide over easier.
