I needed to repair a substantial gash in a 15 year-old black HDPE pond mold. I sanded both parts, cleaned them with denatured alcohol, flame treated them, and then held the two pieces in place for about 15 minutes. The other piece came from a common pond liner patch kit -- I used the side without any adhesive. It's been two weeks and the patch has held! I'm really happy with this stuff. It doesn't run, it does set flexibly, and it is able to bond HDPE if you flame treat it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Epoxy adhesive *by S***L on July 18, 2020* Excellent adhesive! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product works well *by M***S on August 10, 2011* I used this to repair 2 inch holes in the molded keel on two kayaks. I followed the instructions and it worked excellently.Saved me from buying two new kayaks.Note to Polyethylene Kayak owners: Just because the plastic seems invincible, no matter how tired you are and how much junk you have loaded in your kayak, do not drag your kayaks over extended distances.
