Review: Terrific for stretching Achilles tendon and gastrocnemius and soleus muscles in calf - This is the same slant board that was used in my Physical Therapy, and which was very useful and effective in stretching my Achilles tendon, and gastrocnemius and soleus muscles (in the calf) -- all of which had tightened as a result of a specific injury (and which can and does happen in conjunction with injuries that affect one's ability to ambulate, and specifically, to take 'normal' steps [i.e. if/when one's gait is affected in such a way as to result in one not using the musculature of the lower leg in what would otherwise be considered a 'normal' fashion], the consequences of altered & restricted [and especially 'non'-] use of various muscles and connective tissue can result in a kind of cascading this-affects-that -type impact, and affected structures can atrophy and/or 'shorten'/tighten, due to their not having been 'recruited' as they otherwise would be, if one had been using them as one previously had). In addition to the experience-based effectiveness I'd known with use of this specific product, a key reason that I wanted to get the same slant board as what I'd used in PT was due to the board being so stable and well-made -- it looks rather simple in construction, but the relevant aspects of this board are made and fit together in a way that results in the slant board being stable below one's feet (as well as involving a good range of angles, when it comes to its use), and that stability is very important, especially when one considers that some 'major' muscles and a critical tendon (among other things) are being stretched while 'actively' using the board -- to have any such board 'give way', or otherwise result in one suddenly losing one's footing, while engaged in an active stretch, could result in injury, let alone possible exacerbation of an existing issue. Lastly, while it looks as though one is paying for a simple construction involving 3 pieces of wood, the craftsmanship of this product, and its translating to a stable and effective, let alone very-easy-to-use, platform, and its tending to be utilized for the purpose of stretching, and potentially strengthening, key lower body structures associated with standing and walking, the price for this item, while seeming to be a bit high, is technically worth 'enduring', especially if/when compared to the cost of even one session with a physical therapist, and most importantly, if/when compared to the cost of otherwise not being able to recover effective and/or painfree use of the anatomical structures in question, not to mention the potential 'price' one risks 'paying' if/when using an inferiorly made product that, while potentially less costly, when it comes to money, could involve an unstable platform an/or less effective angles, etc., associated with use of the product, and thus possibly result in one not achieving the outcome one otherwise could, with a better made product.
Review: Good product, a bit over priced - This is well made, can be adjusted to 4 different angles, and can be folded flat for easy storage. But, I suppose because of this design, and the thickness of the sturdy boards, the bottom edge is a bit higher from the floor than other non-folding products one finds in gyms ..etc. I find this a bit too high but still very usable ( I don't use it as shown in the picture, I don't put my entire foot on the board , only the front third ) I suppose if you use it as shown in picture then there should be no issue at all. While it is a good quality product, I think it is a bit over priced for what it is. But, this seems to be the going rate for similar products.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: These are made in California.

**Q: By what mechanism does this relieve my TMJ jaw pain?**
A: This device is used for lower body. If you need to release tension in your jaw due to TMJ I recommend looking at different exercises and I think reiki may have a specific thing to do via pressure points. A slant board won't aid in TMJ and I'm not sure who told you that, however they are 100% incorrect

**Q: Does this split for a single foot at different angles or both feet at the same angle?**
A: The Boards4Health Multi-Slant Pro does not split for a single foot. Both feet will be at the same angle at the same time.

**Q: Does this board have a weight limit for how big a person can be and still be able to use it without breaking?**
A: There would have to be a weight limit associated with the product (from the standpoint of physics, alone). I looked into it -- and from what I found (from a listing on one medical equipment supplier site (others I found didn't list the weight capacity, and it seems surprisingly difficult to contact the manufacturer)), there is a 250-lb weight limit.
